The night shift doesn't need to be awake during their shift. However, they do need to be arousable by radio, and they need to let both their supervisor and Khaki know the location of their tent, so they may be found if a call comes in.

If you can't stay awake for your night shift, you should consider drinking coffee/tea/red bull, eating raw cacao beans, or running around in circles singing at the top of your lungs with the windows open.

At the end of your shift, report back to the Ranger Station to return your radio and report on any continuing issues to the next shift.

We do ask that you meet at the FFFA tent at shift change. This is to ease communication about any active issues and so the Rangers will know who is on shift.
Documentation
Document each participant you see, whether at the main station or "in the woods” These documents are confidential and will not be released to anyone if asked.  We need them for our protection and for potential follow up communication on wound checks etc.
There is one form for all documentation- sample below
Only collect information that the participant is comfortable giving.
