The Communications Core is in charge of handling outbound communications between Firefly Arts Collective and members. The Communications Committee:

  • Moderates outgoing announcements to make sure they're reasonable representations of Firefly as an organizations.
  • Insures that communications go out on all channels as needed.
  • Collects announcements and publishes the GLOWBE newsletter as Firefly approaches.

We maintain:

  • The Firefly Facebook group (the main place on Facebook where we post announcements.)
  • The Firefly Arts Collective Facebook page (an identity from which we can post to the Firefly Group.)
  • The GLOWBE, our Firefly newsletter.
  • The announce@fireflyartscollective.org email list, which is used for official announcements.
  • The editorial content on https://www.fireflyartscollective.org including Theme Camp listings, Art listings, etc.
  • The What Where When, our guide to events at Firefly.
